Project Role
Foster Wheeler Oy developed this brownfield project and had responsibility for the entire plant. Due to a design oversight related to the peat fuel, this unit suffered severe corrosion of the baghouse and absorber towers in the first year of commercial operation. During the 2 year corrective action period I was site manager for this project site responsible for executing the repairs and resolving the outstanding technical and commercial issues which resulted in ESB dropping the $1.3 billion lawsuit that they had prepared.
