Past Experience

Decades of global energy experience - named firms, named programs, named MW.

Smartland Energy is early in its own development lifecycle. The track record under the company is the experience our leadership and senior advisors have brought from prior roles - more than 10 GW of installed capacity across gas, coal, and renewable assets globally, in commissioning, financing, regulatory, and operating roles. The named firms and named projects below are what an internal procurement-diligence or lender-review team actually needs to see: who, where, how big, and who they were working under at the time.

Their prior work includes:

A 1,200 MW combined-cycle gas plant in South Korea, where team members advised on commissioning strategy and high-efficiency thermal integration through Foster Wheeler.

A 600 MW gas turbine facility in Texas, supported under Vistra Energy, where our leadership contributed to O&M optimization and long-term capital structuring.

A 1,450 MW supercritical coal facility in the Philippines with Aboitiz Power, where Smartland's current senior advisor led site-wide commissioning across boilers, turbines, and seawater conversion systems.

More than ten projects in China and Southeast Asiainvolving GE turbines, anthracite PC boilers, and CFB systems developed and commissioned under Foster Wheeler's global deployment teams.

U.S.-based power modernization and startup leadership at plants such as Longview (770 MW, WV) and Sandow 5 (2x330 MW, TX).

This cumulative experience spans gas, coal, and renewable technologies in complex regulatory environments with multinational workforces. It's the foundation under Smartland's current portfolio of dedicated, behind-the-meter generation assets - modular RICE units where ramp and rolling maintenance matter, combined-cycle gas turbines where steady high-efficiency baseload best fits the load.
